One of the biggest concerns can be the cost of going to university, most UK students will pay for their tuition fees and living expenses by applying for financial support through the relevant Student Finance websites. 如果你 are already holding a place at another university and are considering Swansea, you can self-release yourself into clearing now. 25% of students who went through clearing last year did it via self-release because they had changed their minds about the place they wanted to study. You can use clearing Self-Release via UCAS Track if you have accepted a place at another University but have decided you want to come to Swansea.

然而, do make this decision carefully as you may lose your place at your original university if you decide you’ve made a mistake.

如果你 apply through UCAS for September 2023 you will automatically be entered into the 清算 process if you don't meet the grades required by your firm and insurance choices, or if you submit your application after 30 June.

如果你 become eligible to use 清算 an 'Add 清算 choice' choice will become available on your UCAS Hub. Alternatively, you can check directly with your firm and insurance choice universities.

对于很多学生来说, 清算 只有 becomes available once their results have been released and if they haven’t met the entry criteria required. A-level results day in 2023 is Thursday 17 August.

We cannot discuss your child's application unless you have been nominated on their UCAS form, or have their permission.

如果你 are appealing your grades, and we have made you a clearing offer onto a foundation or other alternative course based on your current grades, please note that we may be able to move you onto your preferred course if your new grades match our entry requirements for that course.

Please note that this excludes any commissioned/clinical courses which are funded by Welsh Government.

We advise that you call us on 0808 175 3071 in the first instance, to check that you are eligible to apply for your chosen course.

Once your eligibility is confirmed, you can apply using our online application form.

Please note that you must 只有 apply through this method if you are not registered with UCAS this year.
